Simple Little Usenet Test ("SLUT") is a program to test usenet newsgroup servers. It's primarily intended to be used as a way to verify that your account details are correct and/or to diagnose what goes wrong when a problem occurs. You type in three pieces of information: news server name, user name, and password.
