You can locate and eliminate persistant ultrasonic ringing and other artifacts that result from sample rate conversions (like from 48k to 44.1k), to prevent your music from sounding "mushy" on FM radios. Other unwanted artifacts can result from some older synthesizers and some "loud" computer systems. When you are done filtering the wave file, you can then run BumpDown to return your masterpiece to its original speed. DeSnap eliminates unwanted super loud high frequency clicks (snaps) that so often plague digital music, without sacrificing any brilliance. This is not a filter.
