You need to have a phone that can handle MP3 ringtones, or any of the other "real-music" ringtone formats: AAC (mp4), MMF, or Purevoice (qcp), or even Wave ringtones (wav). The software is not tied to any particular carrier. It works with all major US carriers (such as Sprint PCS or Cingular), but it also might work with other carriers.
